This Lino Print was made after my favorite tree, the oak. This is the first in what I hope to be of many lino prints that I want to make. Very fun and extremely consuming of time. Maybe that is why I liked it so much though. The oak tree to me is a symbol of strength. Seems strange that one of the strongest woods in the world can produce such a beautiful and delicate leaf and seed. I love the way that acorns look with their little tops like little beanie caps.
